Sat Nov 29: St Olaf’s Cookie Walk! 9:00am to 1:00pm, a soup lunch will be served at 11:00am. 1 week left to get your baking done! We need 2 more pots of Soup for the Cookie Walk. Sign up sheet on the white board.
Sun Nov 30: Next Sunday we will celebrate our Grade 2 children by giving them a bible. This is a bible which is great for a young reader, so if you have a child of this age who would like a bible, please come forward when invited, or call the office if you cannot attend.
Sun Nov 30: Potluck lunch after the service.
“Advent Intergenerational Event” November 30 at 9:30am we will meet in the basement to celebrate the beginning of Advent. There will be music, crafts, food and a story about Baby Jesus. All are welcome! Let the office know so we can do up a bag of fun stuff to send home with the children, or If you cannot attend but would like a bag. 306-773-4697 ext 720.
A letter from our chairperson was emailed this past week and for those of you who don’t have email, I have put a copy in your mailboxes and there will be a few copies on the back table.
The quilting ladies have a wide selection of quilts for sale in the narthex and in their rooms downstairs. Check them out!
“Night Jesus Was Born” Sat December 6th at 1pm, we shall meet at the church. For anyone interested in going out to Hodgeville to see their display of 1200 Nativity scenes, we have a few women who would take their vehicle and invite others to ride along with them. Please sign up on the round table with your name and phone number, in case of inclement weather, if you are interested.
