Allison Laing received her white coat in a ceremony at the University of Saskatoon recently, where she is studying veterinary medicine. Check out the photo of her on our website!

We will begin by showing the Movie “Luther” and all the congregation is welcome that evening. A date near the end of September will follow shortly.

Friday Oct 3: 7:00pm Expectata! You are invited to a different type of worship. There will be music, a short homily and simple communion and interactive stations. This is intended to be a relaxed service where you are invited to walk around and participate as you feel moved during the service. There will be an adult and a child coloring table, for instance, or you might wish to walk over and watch our resident artist for the evening, Dennis Hall, painting. He will display one of the Faith Chests we give to families. As we begin near Thanksgiving, our theme is Gratitude, so bring someone you are grateful for!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Swift Current High School “COMP EATS” program. We delivered 40 dozen items, they consisted of muffins, power balls, granola bars and puffed Wheat Squares.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated. 

Garden News: Still lots of produce, help yourself.   You may make a small donation to the Angel Fund, there are a couple of jars in the church, to accept your donations.   Thanks, the Garden Gnomes.
